Dear You,
What I’ve learned in my 30 years on earth, is that life can be hard, and wonderful, and amazing, and mysterious, and impossible, and everything in between. Life is complicated, confusing, and downright weird. But one thing is for certain…. I am unique and wonderful and this world would be a much darker place without me in it, and this also goes for YOU!
So here you go… a little motivational speech… a little something that maybe will get you through today, or tomorrow, or the week, or the month, or the year… just take it one day at a time okay? Because sometimes, that’s the best we’ve got in us. So repeat these words out loud, to yourself, or to a room full of people, or in your head, or however you want to express it, just shout it out!
I’m Done
I’m Done explaining who I am to people who only want me to fit inside their little box
I’m Done apologizing for being honest and true to who I am
I’m Done believing the lie that the reason I’m still single is because there is something wrong with me
I’m done being afraid to share my hopes and dreams of the future because of what people might say
I’m Done
God’s opinion is the only one that matters
God’s truth over my life is the only one I should believe
God created me UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL and exactly as I should be
He created me BOLD, purposeful, hard working, a person with very big DREAMS, CARING, LOVING, and as someone who knows what she (he) wants and goes after it
God has already dreamed up the perfect man (woman) for me, who will see past my outward flaws, who won’t be intimidated by my boldness and honesty, who will cherish me, lead me, challenge me, and choose me
God has handmade me from clay, and I am Done critiquing his BEAUTIFUL CREATION
I am who He says I am, because His ways are better than mine!
I am Whole
I am Created unique
I am Worthy of Love
